An objectively accurate breakdown of the biggest tracks from Bugged Out Weekender 2015

 

It's been just over a week since we packed up what was left of our bodies and material possessions and begrudgingly said goodbye to Bugged Out Weekender for another year. It's taken us the full seven days to recover, but we're finally in a place to reflect on what a weekend it was. You can read our full report on everything we got up to tomorrow, but for today you can relive and reminisce with us as we look back at our favourite tracks from the weekend.

 

Leon Vynehall - "It's Just (House of Dupree)"

We were barely in Bognor for an hour before Leon Vynehall had us in full house mode, with this slow-burning banger.

 

Tiga - "Bugatti"

Peak time on Friday and Tiga slays the main room with his ridiculous infectious Bugatti-based weapon.

 

Todd Terje - "Inspector Norse"

Even a fire alarm going off slap, bang in the middle of his set couldn't stop Todd Terje from putting in one of the performances of the weekend. Inspector Norse was a predictable, but undeniably perfect, high point.

 

Sweet Female Attitude - "Flowers"

Mike Skinner brought a decidedly delicate pool party crowd back into Bugged Out spirits with everyone's favourite garage classic.

 

The Chemical Brothers - "Saturate"

Nobody knows how to get a crowd going like The Chemical Brothers, and when you've got this kind of weapon in your arsenal, you know it's guaranteed to go off.

 

The Chemical Brothers - "Swoon"

One of the most euphoric end of set moments we've seen in a long time, this one had the whole room with their hands in the air.

 

MJ Cole - "Sincere"

After being utterly devastated by the full frontal assault that was The Chemical Brothers, we needed a cool down, so went in search of something a little more chilled. Walking into a converted bowling alley to find MJ Cole dropping his signature tune, was a moment we'll not soon forget.

 

Ten Walls - "Walking With The Elephants"

Ten Walls lived up to the hype with his live show on Friday, with this, of course, the jewel in the crown. A hundred air-trumpeters can't be wrong.

 

The Foundations - "Build Me Up Buttercup"

This *may* have got a twenty-man strong acoustic sing-along rendition in the dressing room of a certain Scottish DJ sometime between Saturday and Sunday.

 

Prince - "I Wanna Be Your Lover"

Super-secret special guest, Fatboy Slim had the pool party crowd singing along to this 80s classic on Sunday afternoon.

 

Rui Da Silva - "Touch Me"

More one for the after parties than the main rooms. The Ministry team ensured this got an airing in every hotel and chalet party we stumbled into, it had a big impact every time.
