Mike Posner might have taken a pill to show Avicii he was cool, but why are all these people making up Ibiza stories for attention?

Just under a month ago I went to Ibiza for the first time. It was everything I expected it to be, and more. The sun shone, the sea was rejuvenating and the clubs were spectacular. I had a great time. Too much of a great time, actually.

On day two I was so battered I ended up stealing one of the big yachts in the old town marina. Yeah... I was still up from the night before and had a few too many Jagers at dinner. I just saw one that must've taken my eye. I thought to myself, 'I could have that'. I just ran onto it, got to the control room, pushed the big lever forward and off I went.

I was so wasted I thought I could drive it to Barcelona, but of course, I was SO unbelievably blootered, I couldn't even get it out of the port!

For their part, the Policia were pretty sound about it though, they just told me to sober up and not to do it again. We even got a selfie together with me in handcuffs. You can watch it all on my snapchat story. It was top banter, really. It was boss.

Except that obviously didn't happen. Just like those lads didn't end up in Syria and that guy did not accidentally buy a 30 grand coach in Ushuaia. The former has already been proved a joke after the lads in question bottled it and issued a statement saying "we just made it up for fun."

And as for the latter here's three reasons why this is another fraud:

1) Ushuaia closes at 12AM - nobody in the history of the world has ever gotten so wrecked before midnight that they've forgotten they bought a 30 grand vehicle just for fun.

2) The man who made the claim is an amateur DJ, clearly trying to cash in on the attention of a dance music press eager to cover Ibizan hijinks.

3) Putting something in your basket on eBay is not the same as buying it.

So there you have it, today's clickbait headline: "amateur DJ risks eBay account suspension in hope of gaining more followers"
