Yesterday we nailed our colours to the mast with our predictions for the four dance music categories, but were we right?
The 58th Grammy Awards have been and gone. While dance music continues to be relatively sidelined in the bigger categories, the nominations in the dance-focused categories were some of the most on-point selections yet.
Last year we tried (and pretty much failed) to predict who would come away from the electronic categories brandishing the gold, so we thought we'd try and do it again. Last year we got one out of four correct, did we do any better this year?
Our only non-award prediction for 2016, is that the Jack U live performance will see the return of Diplo awkwardly playing bass, so keep an eye out for that!

Analysis: The albums from Caribou and Jamie xx are both masterpieces, but we reckon their fanbases are too UK-centric to convince the academy. This will be the fourth consecutive nomination in this category for Chem Bros, so the elder statesmen have form. It could be argued that Jack u are the headline players in this category what with two other nominations and a live performance at the ceremony. But we reckon the odds lie in Disclosure's favour. It's widely believed that had the robot's not have dropped RAM and obliterated the hopes of any other nominees, the brothers Lawrence would already have a golden gramophone sat on their mantlepiece. With Caracal lining up the top level guest spots and reaching a wider audience than Settle, we reckon it'd be foolish to bet against them.

Analysis: Some great tracks made the shortlist this year, and it's reassuring to see the Grammy's diversifying with Fly Lo and A&B popping up. But if the track that launched Justin Bieber's lazarus-like comeback we'll eat our hats. America loves Bieber too much for us to truly believe (beliebe?) that anyone else could have a serious chance.

Analysis: A very credible selection of remixes made the list this year. Our only correct prediction last year (it's tough, OK), we thought the time would finally come for Tiesto. If history repeats itself, then it could well be Kaskade's time to shine. However as the original version of "Uptown Funk" is the only track to receive a 'Song of the Year' nod, we figure Dave Aude might just have it in the bag.

Analysis: Not gonna lie, we haven't heard of anyone on this list that isn't Diplo. Although this is generally more of a technical award than for an artist, we reckon it'd be insane for Diplo not to walk away with the gold. His 2015 alone is one of the most successful years of anyone in the history of music, he's also our current power animal, so we're not going to bet against him.
