Katy B’s music has always had one foot in the rave

Emerging onto the scene with a track that stirred the ashes of dubstep in a cauldron of heat, Katy B’s become a national favourite with her right side of slick pop-dance tracks.

Last year she returned from a brief musical silence with "Turn The Music Louder", a number one hit that brought her back into public consciousness alongside Tinie Tempah and Ministry’s very own KDA.

It’s a track that has found its way onto the tracklist of Honey the name of her new project set to “remind people what I’m about”. A 13 track “snapshot of the state of the underground in 2016”, it features collaborations with the following:

Craig David

Floating Points + Four Tet

Novelist

Hannah Wants

These artists and producers make up an exhaustive and exciting list of producers who will no doubt put their stamp on 2016 in several other projects this year. We’re loudly buzzing to hear what Honey will sound like, with its full release coming on April 29th.

In the meantime, have a listen to "Honey", a new title track that’s a collaboration with Canadian neo-soul producer Kaytranada. If the rest of the record sounds anything like this, Katy B’s about to make a lot of people very happy.
