Nancy Noise remembers the Ibiza of the 1980s
"It was the music, the vibe, dancing under the stars all night long and that eclectic mix that was played so perfectly". After losing her heart to the island and its music, she started collecting the records that made her summers' on the island so special, and was eventually asked to play them out in London by non other than Paul Oakenfold.
Twenty years later and she's still collecting, having spent the last two decades playing alongside the likes of Terry Farley. We're lucky enough to have been gifted with an hour long mix that fuses brand new sounds, you've never heard of from around the globe into this very special vinyl only celebration of positive vibes.
Nancy writes "really excited to be playing at the Farr Festival this weekend on Saturday afternoon with Boy's Own, the mix is an eclectic selection, some latin, afro, balearic, Brazilian flavours, the kind of things I will be playing there... love x Nancy x"
It's a real pleasure to be hosting this mix from a member of the Ministry old guard. Please enjoy, and cop a last minute ticket to Farr Festival to catch Nancy play with Leo Zero on Saturday afternoon.
