It's time for you to face the harsh reality of winter in Britain, here's how to ease the inevitable Ibiza comedown

Build A Den And Hibernate Until Next May

With closing parties taking place this week and opening parties kicking off around 21st May 2017, you've got about 34 weeks to kill. That's 238 days, or 5,712 hours. Considering you can spend at least 1/3 of that sleeping, it should be an absolute cakewalk to find 3,808 passable hours of entertainment among Netflix's reported 100,000 hours of content.

Try To Replicate Ibiza In Your House

If you can't bare to be parted with sun, sea and sangria for a minute longer, you can always go nuclear and turn your house into an Ibizan beach bar. Simply fill your living room up with sand and decorate with potted plants and beach inflatables. Vibes can be sorted by hooking some decent speakers up to your laptop and banging 'play all' on Majestic Casual. There you have it - Bedford's answer to Playa d'en Bossa. For added Ibizan authenticity, why not burn a £20 note every time you drink a glass of water? Perfect.

Move To The Southern Hemisphere

Just because Summer has ended in the Northern Hemisphere, doesn't mean the party has to stop. Simply hop on a plane and head for sunnier climes. Spearheaded by Mexico's BPM, South America has become a bit of a hotspot for forward-thinking dance music events. Celebrated Dutch party-starters, Dekmantel, are even hosting a São Paulo Edition in February. Beware, though for every BPM there are a few less successful events, with 2016 seeing a raft of event cancellations. High profile victims have included The Dominican Republic's Groovefest and LCD Soundsystem's Beach Vibes in Mexico.

Forget All That And Keep The Party Going With The Together Homecoming Party

Sometimes you just have to face facts and crack on with things. But what better way to kickstart your winter hangover than with one last Ibiza blowout, this time in the comfort of your very own city? Our favourite Ibizan upstarts, Together, are throwing their homecoming party in our club this Saturday and it's going to be more fun than anything happening on the White Isle for the next six months. They're bringing some of our favourite DJs from the worlds of house and garage along, including DJ S.K.T, MJ Cole, Stanton Warriors, Tough Love, and a very special reunion from garage supergroup, Dreem Teem. You'd be mental to miss it.

Together's Ibiza Homecoming is on Saturday 1st October, get your tickets here.
