The newest instalment to the Bestival brand comes in the form of their Bali edition for 2017. Starting in the UK in 2004 the festival has expanded globally, most recently reaching Indonesia for this Bestival spectacular.

Bestival will land in Bali for the inaugural event on September 30th through to October 1st, bringing with it a diverse line up including the likes of Rudimental, Pendulum, Alt-J, Purity Ring and curator Rob Da Bank.

Uluwatu’s Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK Cultural Park) will be the setting as founder, curator and DJ, Rob da Bank, heads for a more tropical environment.

Rob da Bank said: “Well I can’t think of a better place in the world to do a new festival than Bali – a beautiful country, incredible culture, great music and don’t even get me started on the surf, history, nature and people.

"We are honoured to be bringing Bestival to Bali and promise to deliver a sublime festival experience reflecting being on the Island Of Gods from funk pioneer George Clinton and hip hop royalty De La Soul to indie heroes alt-J and Purity Ring it’s gonna be the best!”

The Bali edition is said to be an "escapist festival wonderland", with "exquisite cocktail bars" as well as a "local & global street food market".

The first wave of tickets have been release with Adult Early Bird Weekend tickets going at $200 USD and Standard Adult Weekend tickets for $250 USD. Tickets can be found here for US currency purchases and here for purchases in IDR.
