Corey James & WILL K – "Tenpaku" [Sosumi Records]

Corey James: Released on Kryder’s ‘Sosumi Records’, who I’ll be supporting on the 1st of September at MOS, this was one of the first collabs me and WILL K done together after winning the SIZE Records remix contest hosted by AN21 and Max Vangeli. Tenpaku is full of tribal grooves, which makes it perfect for getting the party started. Watch out for my bootleg with Valodja and E-Samba too.

Corey James & Teamworx – "Make The Crowd Go" [Protocol Recordings]

One of my best releases on Protocol Recordings I feel, and it was #61 most played track overall for 2016 too. Working with Teamworx on the track was great; we created something perfect for the clubs and the festival mainstages. The track features a catchy rap vocal and a strong electro vibe throughout.

Still Young – "White Label (Is This Love)" [SIZE Records]

I’ve got a lot of time for mysterious duo Still Young, nobody knows who they are, but they always make great tracks. I use this in my sets purely because it incorporates that famous Bob Marley vocal, and the track is generally full of emotion. Everyone sings along, always.

Tom Staar & Corey James – "Bird Flu" [Cartel Music]

Tom Staar is a legend, and I’m lucky enough to say I have worked with him on a record. This track is a real peak-time favourite of mine, a tribal terror featuring a techy bassline and an infectious flute lead. Even before its official release it scooped 50+ different DJ plays.

Sebjak & Marcus Schossow - "Liceu" [SIZE Records]

Seb and Marcus are two producers i’ve always looked up to for so long, and this track has always inspired me. I find the horns and brass in one track so unique, and not many producers are capable of pulling something like that off. I also play it with the ‘Florence + the Machine – Spectrum’ acapella incorporated into it too.

Corey James’ ‘Time Goes By EP’ in collaboration with Marcus Schossow will be out on Code Red Music September 1st.

Corey will be at The Gallery on 1st September, get your tickets here.
