Despite being one of the most famous names in dance music, Tiesto has managed to keep his personal life well out of public view. Aside from his musical tastes, all we really know about Tijs Michiel Verwest is his love of Jagermeister and that that 48-year-old has spent most of his career as a bachelor.

Indeed in 2014 when Annie Mac shadowed the DJ for a Channel 4 documentary, Tijs shared that he didn't think the DJ lifestyle was very conducive to a longterm relationship.

In the three years since, something must've changed, because this week Tijs announced that he was "gonna spend the rest of my life with the love of my life" on Instagram.
