For the past nine weeks you will not have been able to escape the catchy chorus of 'Despacito' (and probably made yourself look a fool trying to learn the Spanish part).

The smash hit by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee has now become the most streamed sone of all time, with 4.6 billion streams globally, pushing their guest vocalist Bieber to number 2 with track 'Sorry', which only reached 4.38 billion streams.

Thanks to the popularity of streaming services the Latin hit has reached immense levels of success despite the different culture and language. Fonsi called it "an honour", while Universal, the label responsible for the release heralded the single a "tremendous accomplishment".

The track currently sits at number 1 in UK, US and Australia and streaming numbers are expected to rise.
