The nations favourite TV series has finally come to a close after a turbulent seven weeks, but life in the spotlight isn't over for our Love Islanders just yet.

The island's most loved up couple (yes I'm referring to Chris and Kem) have left the island to the potential of fulfilling their rap career goals after Stormzy has hinted on twitter a collaboration could be in the pipe line.

The south London boy has clearly shown he is an avid fan of the ITV show, even making a cameo via a Skype call whilst on tour offering the boys some rap advice. The Love Island winner took to Twitter to hit up Stormzy saying “Yo my g ‪@Stormzy1 what you saying...track soon come.”

To which the grime star replied “Oiiiiii MAN LIKE KEMMMMMMM don't gas me. The legend is home.”

Kem fired back: ‘My absolute guyyyyyyyy, seriously though come round mine asap clip abit of food, catch-up then get to writing.. Bars at the ready.’

And Stormzy seemed to hint that a collaboration was imminent, replying: ‘Bro as soon as I’m back form Aus I’m coming to link you straight away serious.’

But fans were quick to point out a massive void in the boys plans in the shape of a certain blue eyed Gloucestershire lad. But Stormzy was quick to rectify the mistake, tweeting ‘Chris knows he’s invited that’s my fucking guy as well.’

Love Island may be over but it's merely one step closer to the grime collaboration of the year.

Kem Cetinay and runner up Chris Hughes kept us entertained with their range of raps and hastily written poems as well as their blossoming bromance and fans should have no fear, ITV bosses are rumoured to be planning a spin off reality show for the boys.

It looks like Chris and Kem were the true winners of 2017.
