A heartfelt ‘Hola’ to both Hernan and Henry here, for a captivating musical array bound to satisfy all musical purists of The Gallery. With each artist an exponent of complex and layered soundscapes not conforming to one genre, this ethos bodes well for a back-to-back performance showcasing everything from deeper house to harder progressive elements that are always lapped up. Not forgetting new material forthcoming on Hernan and Henry’s respective labels ‘Sudbeat’ and ‘Natura Sonoris,’ both imprints of which can boast a compilation in the influential series ‘Balance Presents…’

With Hernan’s previous Gallery show a specific album launch and Henry’s offering yet to be released, expect untested cuts which the pair always save for Ministry - hence affirming the club’s open minded and cosmopolitan clientele which proves a solid testing ground. One year on from their previous joint effort which came critically acclaimed, Senor Cattaneo and Saiz are back for round two.

Here Hernan and Henry fondly recall how their paths first crossed – plus a favourite from each other sure to be showcased on the night. Gracias!

HERNAN CATTANEO ON HENRY SAIZ

Been a big fan of Henry since his early days in the world of electronic music. He bought a brand new and really cool sound to the scene and since then we became good friends and also colleagues too.

Really hard to choose one particular out of so many favourites for Henry, so I will go with the last track he provided for my Balance Sudbeat album.

HENRY SAIZ ON HERNAN

I met Hernan almost 10 years ago when I released my track "We Are All" on Marc Marzenit's label. He was playing the track so we got in touch and got along. We became friends quickly (he’s the nicest person) and down the years he has proven a real friend - I can count on him anytime and vice versa. Definitely a role model in this scene full of egos and bullsh*t!

For my pick I’d choose any of Hernan’s tracks with Soundexile from his superb last Balance CD. I love the trippy down tempo vibe.

Hernan Cattaneo and Henry Saiz go B2B for four hours at The Gallery on Friday July 14thCLICK HERE FOR ADVANCE TICKETS…
