This weekend, Grime4Corbyn, a grassroots campaign group brought hundreds of young voters together in a converted warehouse in Tottenham to celebrate their left-leaning political views and party in the name of Jez. An unlikely setting for a Labour party rallie, Grime4Corbyn campaign is steadily gathering pace targeting young voters and encouraging them to register to vote on Thursday 8th June.
In exchange for registering, voters were offered a free ticket to the secret party on Saturday. The event was a huge success, with the hashtag #grime4corbyn being tweeted more than #LabourManifesto at one point.
A number of grime stars, including Stormzy and JME, have already encouraged voters to go red, with an official Labour campaign video featuring rising star AJ Tracey and the support shows no signs of slowing down in the run up to the election this week.
