As the pinnacle of all UK festivals goes on its fallow year for 2018, Emily Eavis teases what's to be expected from Variety Bazaar.

The Glastonbury organiser has likened the spin off to existing Glasto areas Shangri-La, Block9 and the GreenFields, admitting the new festival will be more like the party corner of its big brother.

Variety Bazaar will be run by the same team but will only be taking place every five years, starting in 2021. Glastonbury founder, Michael Eavis, has described the spin-off as 'the last big gamble of his life'.

The team behind Glasto's younger sibling have already been eyeing up potential locations and Eavis revealed how excited she is to be looking at new and different landscapes.

Glastonbury will return in 2019 and Eavis has teased a possible rejig on its return. With the future in mind, two acts for the 50th anniversary in 2020 have already been booked.
