Starting 6th July 2017, Ministry of Sound will be taking over Barcelona’s most prestigious club every Thursday. Born in Ibiza almost 40 years ago, the Café Del Mar firm is famous for the beach club chill-out sunset sessions.
The Barcelona edition in Port Forum boasts 4 floors, a 1,500 m2 terrace and a pool area with a stage, proudly making Café del Mar Port Forum the largest beach club in the world. As if that wasn’t enough, customers have access to an exclusive 350 capacity boat to watch the sunset behind the Barcelona skyline.
The opening party on 6th July is headlined by Madrid born DJ and Producer, Wally Lopez. A pioneer of house music in Spain the DJ has been hailed one of the kings of Ibiza with his historic residencies at Pacha and Space. Joining him is Franky Rizardo. One of Holland’s best talents, Rizardo is fast becoming a major influence in the house music scene with strong productions and his successful FLOW radio show and events. Finally, Ministry’s own featured artist Ayman Awad completes the bill for the Ministry of Sound opening party at Café del Mar Port Forum, having already DJ’d in Mambo’s, Sankey’s and Privilege, to name but a few.
These tech house innovators will be sure to keep it heated from dusk till dawn as Thursdays at Café del Mar are placed firmly on the map for summer 2017.
