Fans of the DJ want to get "Children" to No.1
After the sad news of Robert Miles passing away last week, there has been an outpouring of grief from across the dance music world. Miles, who had been battling cancer, is best known for the 90s hit, "Children".
Now a campaign by fans of the Italian-born producer have started a campaign to get "Children" into the UK Singles Chart. A Facebook Group behind the campaign appeared on the site last night, the About section of which we've pasted below.
"A team of us decided that Robert Miles 'Children' needs to chart again! #robertmilesnumberone"
A spokesperson for the campaign said that the idea was for the proceeds to help support Robert's wife and kids.
