Britain's favourite crime-drama, Top Boy, is finally making it's comeback for the third season.

After months of teasing, Netflix has announced, with some encouragement from rapper Drake, that it will be premiering the new 10-part season in 2019 and pick up where the original show left off, with Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson (Kano) reprising their roles as Dushane and Sully.

The show was well received after its launch in 2011 with more than 1m people regularly tuning in each week. Going on to win a Bafta Award in 2012, Top Boy eventually caught the eye of the Canadian rapper after he watched episodes on YouTube.

In a statement Top Boy creator Ronan Bennett said: "I am delighted to be reunited once more with the Top Boy team, our wonderful cast and to have Drake as new a collaborator.

"And I could not be prouder to be doing the show with Netflix."
