The building that housed legendary New York nightclub, Paradise Garage, is to be demolished according to a post on the Larry Levan Facebook Fan Page. The page posted a photo of a demolition notice that has appeared at the 84 King Street location.

The Paradise Garage was probably the most influential nightclub in history and operated between 1977 to 1987. The club was the inspiration for Ministry of Sound founder, Justin Berkmann, to set up our home in Elephant & Castle.

Since the club closed, the building has been occupied by Verizon Communications, a global telecoms company.
