Last year we brought you news that Paul Oakenfold had successfully DJed from Mt Everest Basecamp. Taking place at 17,000 feet above sea level, this set the record for highest ever DJ set (the jury is still out on whether Club Dom's Zero Gravity Rave counts).

The journey was one of Paul's biggest challenges and he undertook it to raise money to help support victims of Nepal's devastating 2015 earthquake. Teaming up with Nepali DJ and producer, Ranzen, the two went B2B at Mt Everest's famous basecamp.

Now a documentary following Paul's journey has been announced with a trailer you can watch above. The doc will follow Paul and Ranzen as they journey around Nepal recording sounds to use in the production of new dance music. The doc will then follow Paul on his trek to basecamp and document the struggles he faced.

Along with the trailer, Paul has also dropped a six hour, Mount Everest: Base Camp Mix, which you can listen to in full below.
