Marshmello shocked his fans at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium over the weekend. Midway during his set, the anonymous, producer lifted his helmet to reveal that he was in fact... comic legend Will Ferrell.
When the Anchorman star removed the helmet he spoke to the crowd saying; "Yes! It's me. I am Marshmello. It was me, all along. Assholes."
This isn't the first time the masked producer has removed his helmet at a concert, back at EDC 2016, it was Tiësto hiding under the bucket helmet.
Who knows, maybe Marshmello is actually a shadowy cabal made up of crowd-pleasing actors and DJs, maybe Ben Stiller will be the next person to don the mellohead?
