A return long requested by The Gallery faithful, we welcome back Bryan Kearney who will debut his new 'E-X-T-E-N-D-E-D' concept in The Box. With Buenos Aires, Dublin and Northern Ireland the only other locations announced in 2018 for this showcase, Bryan specifically chose London and Ministry of Sound for the British leg of the tour. It's sure to be an occasion which promises not only the hard hitting beats of label 'Kearnage Recordings,' but which span the whole spectrum of electronic music too.

An extended session gives Bryan opportunity to especially craft his performance, starting with sounds more groove-orientated before transitioning towards harder sounds with more familiar BPM levels. Allowing Kearney to express his musicality as an artist without being restricted to style, this open-minded format matches The Gallery's own - and creates the potential for this to be our most impassioned gig of recent times.

Ahead of the big debut, we got Bryan to curate a selection of tracks for The Box with a personal narrative to explain the musical progression of his E-X-T-E-N-D-E-D concept.

Lane 8 - "Little Voices"

Bryan Kearney: I started my Extended set in Buenos Aires with this. I really like Lane 8 as a producer. His tracks are extremely well made and I really like how he focuses on the melody being the main element of the track. This track works perfectly for initiating a melodic groove at the start of an extended set. Other favourites from him include "Rise & Frau".

Killahurtz - "West On 27th" (A Tribe Called KHz Mix)

A classic from the legendary Hooj Choons label. This is a wonderful example of dark and driving progressive and provides the perfect link as I take the set into a more techno-based sound. This track evokes so many memories from my youth and it still sounds so fresh.

Enrico Sangiuliano - "Multicellular"

I'm lucky to have an advance copy of this as it's forthcoming on Adam Beyer's Drumcode record label at the beginning of June. This is the track that Adam Beyer and Cirez D started with at their show in Miami earlier this year. The production level is of the highest quality and I've made my own edit of it to play in my sets. Brilliant track from the Italian techno machine that is Enrico Sangiuliano.

Bryan Kearney & Deirdre McLaughlin - "Open My Mind"

This is my forthcoming vocal single for 2018 and has been absolutely massive in my sets since I debuted the track at ASOT 850 in February. Due for release in June 2018 on Kearnage Recordings.

Castaneda - "Floor Control" (John Askew's 5am Gallery Mix)

An extended set wouldn't be complete without a blast from the past and this one is absolutely perfect to inject some extra energy into the room at an exact moment. A classic remix from John Askew.
