Making Friends With is our series that sees us get to know DJs in some of their favourite hangouts
Last month saw International Music Summit take place once again in Ibiza. Each year the global dance music industry decamps to The Hard Rock Hotel in Playa d'en Bossa for a week of panels, keynote speeches label showcases and, of course, parties. Over the course of the week we got the opportunity to hangout with a lot of exciting DJs, one of those DJs was the wonderful Lauren Lane.
Am NYC expat, she now splits her time between LA and Ibiza. Lauren can be found DJing at some of the parties most respected parties from Paradise at DC10 to ANTS at Ushuaïa, Rumours at Destino and Music On at Amnesia.
Lauren's productions have found fans on both sides of the Atlantic, with her debut EP, Cool Kids, releasing on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records. The follow up, Diary Of A Madwoman, was released back in 2016 on Eats Everything's Edible Records.
We caught up with Lauren just before sunset in Hard Rock's poolside restaurant.
