Gallery aficionados prepare once again for a showcase of classy sounds and dreamy vibes. Crowned by a cosmopolitan crowd that comes out to play especially for these SUDBEAT label nights.

I met Lonya personally for the first time when playing in 2010, at 'Peguin Club' in Tel Aviv. I was already playing his music and we have released his single with Hakimonu on Sudbeat called "Sea Saw". That time he opened for me, so we spent some time together in Israel and quickly became good friends! Since then we've done a lot together including a great gig for The Gallery and Ministry of Sound in 2016 - so really looking forward to this new date on July 13th.

Hernan's Pick: Lonya - "Dancing In The Rain" 

We have signed many Lonya tracks over the years and I feel special about this one. Not because it's better than the others - but I know it was overlooked by many DJs and is definitely one of my favourites…

 

LONYA

I followed Hernan's sound in the early 2000s and his work was mind blowing. So when the option came to open in Tel Aviv in 2010 I was very excited. We were speaking before and he also chose our track as his favourite for DJ Mag's Top 100 of that year, but I didn't know what to expect when meeting in person. It turned out to be a magical night and we became friends since then. He shares his experience and wisdom and has guided me a lot over the years.

Lonya's Pick: Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile - "Infoxication"

This track Hernan made with Soundexile is very trippy, hypnotic, and has lots of personality. It has a few elements that can help the DJ to take the crowd to an unexpected place - and that's what I'm always looking for. I remixed it with Guy Mantzur a year after the release - and we loved to play with those elements in the studio and give our interpretation.
