Kyau & Albert pick three top tracks for The Box - plus a personal narrative as to why they are suited for Ministry of Sound.
To begin this bank holiday weekend in true Gallery style, Friday welcomes a big Easter bash which concludes March. That's Cosmic Gate, Matt Darey (an exclusive set in Dolby Atmos), Orjan Nilsen, Jerome Isma-Ae and Alex M.O.R.P.H. Not forgetting the 103 room next door, which hosts #Trance classics by Agnelli & Nelson. But we'll let our artists do the talking here, as each picks a top track - plus why it's specifically suited to Ministry of Sound. See you Friday.
Cosmic Gate: Cosmic Gate Vs. Third Party - "Like This Body Of Conflict" (Cosmic Gate MashUp)
When we played this mash up at The Gallery in December, the crowd went off! We are super, super excited that it is getting it's official release on our new mix compilation Wake Your Mind Sessions 003 now! Expect to hear this on March 30th when we return to London!
Matt Darey: 30 Seconds To Mars - "Up In The Air" (Matt Darey Remix)
I've remade many of my classics in Dolby Atmos three dimensional audio, such as "Gamemaster", "Beautiful" and "See The Sun". However I'm going to pick my remix of 30 Seconds To Mars as the one I think will blow you away the most - when you hear it in Dolby Atmos Sound.
Orjan Nilsen: Orjan Nilsen Feat. R-Lend - "Without Kontakt"
My top track for Ministry of Sound is by myself and good friend R-Lend called "Without Kontakt". I've chosen it for The Box as it reflects the kind of what a club is. It's dirty, gritty but beautiful at the same time - so perfect for The Gallery!
Alex M.O.R.P.H.: Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Mark Sherry - "Magnetar"
Here is my top track for Ministry of Sound. It's with Mark Sherry, it's called "Magnetar" and released on Vandit Records. I have chosen it for The Box because it has the power, the strength, the purity, the energy, the thrill, the dynamic and the elegance to mirror exactly what it means to play The Gallery.
Jerome Isma-Ae: Jerome Isma-Ae & Tone Depth - "Bloodmoon"
My top track for The Gallery is "Bloodmoon". It's my collaboration with buddy Tonedepth, I chose it for Ministry because it's a very techy, driving track combined with some trance elements too. So it perfectly suits the vibe for Ministry of Sound!
Agnelli & Nelson: Ascension - "Someone"
Robbie here from Agnelli & Nelson. Just here to say hello ahead of playing Trance classics in the 103 room at Ministry of Sound. One of my favourite tunes to play on the night will be "Someone" by Ascension. It's one of those tunes which flows with the motion, great vocals and destroys the dance floor as well. Bye!
The Gallery at Ministry of Sound on Friday March 30th, tickets & info here.
