Hitting twenty-five years is a major achievement in any walk of life. However when considering the record label industry and its ever changing environment, this milestone becomes even more significant.

Adapting from the tape and vinyl era whilst maintaining an ethos for quality releases over quantity, POSITIVA XXV is a celebration of a quarter century at the forefront of club culture - having discovered music to define the Trance genres whilst fuelling countless moments of Gallery mayhem too. So especially to commemorate twenty-five years of Positiva, the imprint makes a triumphant homecoming to Londonand The Gallery - for an exclusive one-off event paying homage to Positiva XXV.

Ferry Corsten and Lange need no introduction to The Gallery faithful, and this 1st London show of 2018 is to specifically showcase a seminal discography with the Positiva label. So Ferry will dust off the crate to unleash "Punk" and "Rock Your Body Rock" amongst others, whereas "Follow Me" by LANGE still sounds fresh today - featuring  those poignant vocals of Cecily Fay from "The Morrighan". Finally a Live PA from JES will provide an emotive sing along to "As The Rush Comes" – arguably the label’s most iconic release by "Motorcycle".

Here each artist selects their top track from the label for The Box.

Lange: Fragma - "Toca Me" (In Petto Remix)

Lange: The melody from ‘Toca Me’ is so simple yet utterly timeless. The track eventually went mainstream with the ‘I Need a Miracle’ vocal, but my favourite mix is one of the original instrumentals, the ‘In Petto Remix’ from 1999. It’s Italian tech-trance at its finest with that throbbing, offbeat bassline - but it’s so much more… The way the arp melody leads you into the breakdown with all those atmospherics - totally transforming the feeling of the track - gives me the chills every time. THEN those guitar plucks come in! How did we get there? A masterpiece. This is art and deserves to be played at The Gallery!

Ferry Corsten: Ferry Corsten - "Punk"

Ferry: For the UK, Positiva has been very important for my career. But my favourite release on the label? That’s hard as there are quite a few actually. But really have to pick ‘PUNK.’ Punk was a big one, and a track which was different from anything else I’d done before – so it was a very exciting time in my career.

JES: Motorcycle – "As The Rush Comes"

JES: My top track for twenty five years of Positva, is my track ‘Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes.’ I’ve chosen it for The Box because it is a timeless song, which has been unifying people on the dance floor for many years now. It’s one everybody knows and has a unique sound – and I’ll be singing it at Ministry of Sound. Meet me there so we can BRING IT ON!
